When COVID-19 first struck, I would love to think that none of us thought that it would be such a big thing. In fact, most of us actually brushed it off and were not keen on what it was all about thinking it was just another virus that would go away.

Coronavirus
However, things took a turn- it is now a pandemic. It has affected millions of lives, claimed many, and has greatly affected our economy. But even in the tough times, there is something that we can all learn.
One, we are stronger than we think. Who ever thought that we would be on lockdown and not even have the freedom of meeting our loved ones? Staying indoors is such a struggle for many of us.
Not being able to meet our friends or even family members has taken a huge toll on us. However, we have managed to push through. And thanks to technology, we can easily communicate with one another virtually.
What We Learnt
We have learned that we have so much power in us that can push us through the toughest seasons in our life. If you have contacted the virus and healed, you can attest to the fact that you are strong. Dealing with sickness all alone in isolation is no easy feat. When all you have is yourself for two or more weeks, it takes inner strength to fight and come out of it.
Two, life is not guaranteed. Perhaps you knew this phrase before, but it has hit home for most of us during this pandemic. One minute you might be alive and enjoying life, the next minute, you may be long gone.
What does this mean, then? You need to live life to the fullest. Try out as many things as you wish, apply for that job, reach out to someone you love, and enjoy life.
Thirdly, unity is strength. One of the ways that Covid 19 spreads is by contact. For this reason, most countries worldwide had to have a lockdown in order to keep the virus at bay. It is only when we work together through a shared goal that we are able to achieve more.
If we all adhere to the regulations and maintain social distancing, sanitize our hands, and wear our face-masks indoors. Together we can reduce the number of COVID-19 cases.
Vaccines
Recently, there has been an uproar on the COVID-19 vaccine. It is a hot debate topic right now as there are a lot of controversies surrounding it. Some people are more receptive to the vaccination, while others are skeptical about it.
There is a lot of information as well as misinformation on the same, but before taking the plunge, it is best to be well informed on everything to do with the vaccine.
Everyone has learned something during this pandemic, and we are still learning and unlearning a lot of things. Our health is of utmost importance, and we need to take good care of ourselves even more during these times.
